Our Mission
As girls or non-binary individuals in math and STEM, all of us have seen the stark differences between the number of boys, girls, and non-binary participants in traditional math competitions or math-related activities in general. This monumental gap has discouraged many girls and non-binary people around the world from pursuing math, either as a hobby or a career. Through our activities, we hope to inspire a passion for this subject in more girls and non-binary individuals, helping to close this gap. Math is an amazing subject full of hidden puzzles and strategies, and together, we want to create an event full of joy where girls and non-binary participants can bond over the beauty of the subject.
FAQs
I’m interested but have no math competition experience. Can I still attend?
Of course, you should really attend this competition. In the past, many people have stated that INTEGIRLS gave them an entry into math competitions and they had no idea how it was until they attended the event.
